As I sit here writing on the world’s greatest personal computer (The Mac Pro Quad Xeon 64-bit workstation with dual 30 inch monitors):

I can’t help but pity you Wal-Mart shoppers who still use software from the Antichrist (Microsoft) and can’t figure out how to get on the front page of Digg (Idiots!).

So, I did some statistical analysis, using my Open Office Firefox plugin, of all the stories that made the front page of Digg in the past year and have come up with:

The 10 Steps to Guarantee You Make the Digg Front Page

Hopefully, you will be able to use them before we all die because of global warming next year . . .

1. Make A List or Tutorial Headline. Your Headline should make it seem like the reader’s online success is just a 5 minute read away. Remember, the average digger has the attention span of a gnat on crack. Diggers want the fast, easy answer that will solve all their problems. Your headline must appeal to people with severe ADD or most people won’t even read your article - let alone Digg it.

*In the past year, a “top 10” or “top 100” list has made the front page on average once every other day.

2. Write about Digg. Could a site be any more narcissistic? I think not. Digg likes itself so much that Paris Hilton looks about as humble as a Nun by comparison. People must be sitting at their computers going “OMG Look it’s a story about Digg! That’s sooooooo cool! I’ll totally digg that!” Bonus points if you mention Kevin Rose.

* In the past year, stories with “Digg” in the submission have made the front page a whopping 554 times and mentioned Kevin Rose by name an average of once a week.

3. Appeal to the Apple fanboys. Did you hear from someone who knows someone who served a Cream Chai Latte to Steve Jobs about some Mac Rumor? Well that’s front page Digg Material all the way! Don’t know why, but if Apple lets out a fart, diggers can’t wait to comment on the rosy smell.

* Stories with “Apple” in the Submission have made the front page a mind blowing 1225 times in the past year.

4. Doom and Gloom about how Global Warming will destroy us all. Who cares if we only have real data that covers about 1/20,000,000 of the earth’s history? (unless you’re a creationist, then it’s like 1/40th). So what if there is nothing but anecdotal evidence to support almost every claim? Does it matter that world’s best meteorologists can’t even tell me if it’s going to rain tomorrow?

No!

Diggers don’t really like to DO anything about global warming, but feel guilty about it despite a lack of conclusive evidence. In that sense, I guess it’s kinda like “Religion 2.0”. Diggers will Digg Global warming Doom and Gloom stories so they can “feel” like they “did something” to “help mankind.” All while consuming more electricity, more oil and more natural resources than the 80% of the world’s population that doesn’t even have a computer.

* A junk science, doom and Gloom story about Global Warming will make the front page of Digg on average of once a week.

5. Write about how great Firefox is. When it comes to Firefox, no story is too lame, no plugin is too useless and no article can praise Firefox too much for the front page of Digg. Sure, it’s just a freaking browser. Sure, it leaks memory faster than . . . umm . . . some kind of leaky thing leaking much faster than usual. Sure no one really needs YAFFFP - but who cares?!?

* In the past year, a firefox story has made the front page on average once every day.

6. Remember: Walmart, George Bush, and Fox News have NEVER done ANYTHING right. Everything they do is because they are 100% evil to the core. This REAL Axis of Evil delights in the clear-cutting of forests just for shits and giggles, the sadistic torture of children, and is right now plotting the Next 9/11 attack on America. * * actually, I’m not a fan of George Bush; but his coverage on Digg is more rigged than a Diebold voting machine. Maybe he should ask for a Digg recount?

7. Repeat after me: “Microsoft sucks, Microsoft Sucks, Microsoft Sucks.” So what if 97% of all computer users use their products? Ignore that they’ve been the most consistent winner for the last 25 years in a space littered with failures. Who cares if their founder has given more to charity than any human in the history of mankind? They suck! And they are evil! Why? Because it’s cool to say so.

* 94% of the front page articles that mentioned Microsoft in the past year cast the company in a negative light.

8. Make up outrageous statistics that you have not researched. State your opinions as fact. Sure, they might get vetted by some geek who has nothing better to do, but that probably won’t happen until you’ve already made the front page.

9. Insult as many groups as you can. Flamewars are popular for a reason. Throw out bombs that dare people to comment on your story. If you haven’t pissed off half your readers by the end of your article, it’s probably because you don’t have the balls or you’re too stupid to figure out how.

10. Include the word’s slowest loading Plugin so people can Digg your Story without leaving your site. If you manage to type 1000 words, there’s at least a chance that it will finish loading before the reader has finished reading your article. Then if you’re lucky, about 5% of your lazy-ass readers might actually click the button to digg your story

How does it work and how you can use it? Here is the scheme.

1. Register some accounts on Netscape, the more - the better.
2. Download and install in your FireFox SeoQuake toolbar.
3. Go in Google and type: allinurl:cars site:netscape.com (cars, because my resources are about them, but you can type anything you want)
4. Check PR by SeoQuake.
5. Choose all articles with high PR and open it in new window.
6. Vote for all these articles.
7. Waiting for Google’s Page Rank update.

Finally, Page Rank will be poured on your profile and, from it - on your site… and the link in a profile, will appear in a relevant environment…

It is necessary to define only how to get in “Related Stories”, and to parasite on those who is in TOP
1. Choose the necessary subjects
2. Look, and choose the donor on a theme interesting to us
3. Pay attention to title and tags of the donor
4. Post the URL with similar Title, Description, and tags (It is desirable to pick up clinging title)

Spam as the powerful advertising tool.

There are many ways to search engine optimization. You can go with the conventional adsense marketing or try the relatively newer email marketing. But the key to website marketing lies in the whole attitude towards seo.

My advice to you: don’t think about online money, just do it! My Net of 7 blogs about cars is bringing me about $500 per month. The age of it 2,5 months. All of them has PR-0. I still don’t sell links from them, but if would, it will bring me aditional $400 income.

Again, I want to come back to this subject. I wrote about creating ads on AdWords, but now I want to generalize some rules.

Many people around the Net doing hundreds, or even thousands with help of affiliate advertising. I’ll show you some tips, which will help you in your online businness oppotunities.

1. Type a straight to the point title for your ad. Make sure that you are showing in it’s title what you want from a customer to do. For example, if you are selling the new Play Station 3, write in your title “Buy new Sony Play Station 3“. This will ensure you, that the person who click on advertisement is a potential buyer.

2. In advertisement description, try to write as much info about the product as possible. Input prices in first line of ad, so that you don’t have to pay for a click if a person is just looking for prices of a product. The advantage of this is that the person who are reading the ad will not click if something in not approach for him and you’ll save money. The more fully description you have, the more targeted clicks you will receive.

3. Choose your keywords and phrases carefully. This is one of the most important rules you have to use to get success. You need to select keywords and key phrases that reflect exactly what you are offering.

For example - if you are promoting music cd’s, good phrases you could add to your keyword list are “buy cd’s”, “buy cds”, “buy music cd’s”, etc. Notice the word “buy” is a key word in this type of text ad, because it targets people who are looking to actually “buy” music cd’s.

I have obtained great results in adding the word “buy” to my keyword phrases when promoting products to sell, because people who actually type “buy” in a search box are looking to buy stuff! These text ads tend to convert more than any other by just adding “buy” at the front of a key phrase or key word.

4. Start testing your ads with a budget of $20/day max (for starters) and a max CPC (cost per click) of $0.20. When you begin to see a good click-through rate (at least 10% for starters), you can raise your daily budget a little. If your click-through rate doesn’t get any better, try changing your keywords and key phrases. If you’re still not seeing good results, create different text ads for the same product and see which ad is performing better.
Tip: You can use a synonyms dictionary to find alternatives and you will be just fine.

I always thought, that extraction of links is a hard work and that is necessary fairly think to extract qualitative entering links. For last weeks, I have understood, that it is not so, and I was once again convinced that make money online is easy. There are huge quantity of ways of creation of High Page Rank links, from which I known less than one percent.

But even that I know, can be enough for achievement PR5 after 5 months of your blog existence. Let me tell you about last researches in the field of getting of links with minimum PR5 pages.

First, let’s look at PRWeb. I get this PR4 link without hope of getting trackback from it. Now I have three PR5 links from PRWeb using their trackback system. Do you have a blog and want to find a relevant article on PRWeb? Simply enter this in Google: “site:www.prweb.com/releases intext:your keyword”.

Again and again I want to come back to Netscape. I found out that Netscape Tag pages have a PR which is the same to first page of the Tag. For example, tag Adsense has the PR5 and any article that you post under this tag will has the same PR. I have already one PR6 after posting an article under SEO tag. Just do this Google search: “site:www.netscape.com/tag/your keyword” and post your relevant article under it’s tag.

One more way of getting backlink is to get it from WSJ.com (Wall Street Journal).

Sphere gives the information about backlinks from articles on WSJ. It means that your blog will apper in RELATED ARTICLES AND BLOGS on WSJ.com in commented article.

Squidoo Lens. Do you know what Squidoo is? It’s the service which is very simultaneously to MySpace and Wiki, but has commercial orientation. “Lenses” - are the small sites which are created by users. In last time, this resource is very popular, that’s why you could make some of your own Lenses just for the purpose of having quality linkback from High PR source.

And the last Tip for today, which I still not use, but I will. I found it on another blog and it’s very interesting as for me.
Finding Link Injection Possibilities With Versions & Changes Logs
Search for popular file names that include version update information and changes logs that are typically found in downloadable website scripts.

Two good places to find them would be:

1. Popular PHP and CGI scripts.
2. Searching directly for the filenames.

Check the changes and version logs and look for vulnerability fixes that happened recently. These typically mean theres a possibility for a link injection or spamming possibilities.

Try to download the versions of the script before the bug was fixed. Look for the vulernability and figure out a way to exploit it.

Search for sites using the same script and attempt to link inject on all of them.

My advice to you: always look on the parties. Practicaly everywhere you can put your link, just think about it and you will have success. Do you think it’s hard? No! It’s easy!

If you are earning money online, you understand about what am I talking about. The Internet gives us a great opportunities and I want to count them. This is my own experience and once again I want to share with you some of my thoughts about it, just because I like it.

Well, what interesting an online business could give us?

• Huge quantity of opportunities. If you don’t like affiliate marketing, you can try your forces in search engine optimization, blogging, publishing you own product, or may be creating your own project. Internet will always give something to carry you away.

• You’ll always be asked. I have many friends and they storming me all the time to teach them how to do it. If you like the guru status you’ll never miss.

• Everyday something new. I’m in Internet business for a long time, but I still learn something every day. Sometimes I learn it at somebody, sometimes I’m founding it by myself. But everyday there are things which surprise me.

• Internet never costs on a place. If 4-5 years ago we can make money only from very good promoted websites and surfing, today we have hundreds ways to earn online. 1 year ago John Chow made $1,000 per month, august brought him $18,000. It speaks about much.

• You can combine Internet business with everything. For example, if I make some automatic work, I always looking TV. Travel? No problem, your business is always with you.

• Acquaintance with new people. You are new to Internet business? Then try to find somebody to read or to communicate with. Forums, blogs and other online communities will help you in this.

• Google. What is interesting in Google? Everything! Once I thought that Google is only its search home page. Today I wonder about its services and algorithms. Every time when I knew something new, starting from Adsense and finishing with Google Analytics, it bewitches me.

• Satisfaction of your ambitions. If you want to earn $2000 per month, not problem. If you want to earn $10,000 per month, you can do this too. It will take more time, but your opportunities have no limits. It is only for you to choose.

Hey did you create your new blog? Or just want to do it? No matter. In any case you have to adjust it to archive your purposes. You want to make money from it, or you just want to promote affiliate products, or may be want it to read by big auditory, anyway there are things which you should test to increase your blog’s popularity.

Every time when I create new blog, after my first readers had come, I begin to change some things. I am making my blogs on Blogger, because of easy inserting of ads and banners there. I has found out, that even minimal changes could get my blog high in search engine positions and increase the profit.

Well here it is, a few things you could test.

1. Blog template. This could essentially increase conversions or rankings in the search engines. Try to choose the template with minimal HTML (the easier the better) but change its colors, sizes and fonts. Your blog must be unique.

2. Google Adsense.? You could try putting different types of Adsense on your blogs and you could try changing the position of your Adsense ads. From the placing of Adsense block depends the quantity of clicks on it. I always try to place it inside the text, and also checking the colors of its text.

3. Different ways to get back links. You could try getting back links in different ways as there are always new ways to get back links. Link baiting, forums, press releases, blog comments and article directories will increase your chance in getting high search engine positions. Don’t neglect of any of this ways.

4. Banner Ads.? Try testing the difference between text and graphic banners at the top of your blog. You could try different colors or words.

5. Blog Copy.? Try testing the sales copy on your blogs. See if you can pre sell the affiliate product better. This could give your income a serious increase if it works better. Some experiments with the picture of the product, allowed me to increase my income in times.

These are just a few factors that can improve your income. There are many more so just test anything you can. You don’t imagine what trifles can approach you to your blogging success.
